This entry provides a brief sketch of some important Non-Conformists and Puritan Preparationists. Non-Conformists such as Matthew Henry, John Bunyan and Isaac Watts are fairly well known. However, there are some lesser known men such as Thomas Hooker and Solomon Stoddard (Jonathan Edwards grandfather) who are vitally important to our study. From Part 4 we are tracing the history of evangelism up to the time of Northhampton, Mass. pastor, Solomon Stoddard.
