Sexual immorality is a damnable sin, which means that if you continue in it, you will not inherit the kingdom of God. No one is exempt from this. Not our children or anyone else’s children. Gos is no respect of persons and he expects people to repent.
Lot was a just man, but there was something about him that caused him to hang around in a city that was one of the most wicked in world history. He was even carried off one time by the enemy as spoils of war and God had to send Abraham to save him. Why stay? Why keep putting yourself through all of this? Eventually, God had to send an angel to practically drag him out as he was about to rain judgment down on them.

The most important thing about a person is what comes into their mind when they think about God (A.W. Tozer). This is why studying scripture is vitally important. Generally speaking, a person who never reads their Bible has consciously or unconsciously chosen to “fashion” Jesus according to their own desires.
