God taught Nebuchadnezzar an important lesson. I sometimes say that “there is a generation that doesn’t learn by lecture, illustration or revelation; but by destruction and devastation.” Destruction deals with loss; devastation deals with the emotional response to that loss. Nebuchadnezzar learned the hard way that God is in control of the kingdoms of this world.
